The first quarter of 2024 was packed with massive game releases, including big titles like Tekken 8, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Dragon’s Dogma 2, plus some surprise hits such as Palworld, Helldivers 2, and Balatro. After a busy schedule like this, April feels more like a slowdown, but it still packs quite a few new games to get excited about.

PlayStation fans will be looking forward to the next big exclusive, and a long-time Xbox and PC pirate game is finally making its way to the PS5. The last video game project of legendary mangaka and Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, who passed away last month, is also slated for an April 2024 launch.

A peculiar shooter where you play as the bullet, a couple of metroidvanias, and a cozy adventure with strong Breath of the Wild vibes complete the list this month. All in all, still quite a few titles to go over, so let’s have a look at 10 of the biggest video games coming in April 2024.

A standalone prologue game, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, was launched in May 2022 with very positive reviews.
