The Genshin Impact Lost Riches event has finally returned to the open-world game, allowing players to obtain another Mini-Seelie companion to journey through Teyvat with. Just like in its earlier incarnation in Sumeru, players must seek some treasures in the Lost Riches event in Fontaine to obtain an event currency called Ancient Iron Coins.

These can be used in the time-limited event shop to purchase a new Mini-Seelie pet as well as Primogems and other useful resources.

Is that treasure Navia is spying?

While you’ll have enough Ancient Iron Coins to obtain a Mini-Seelie after successfully completing the first two treasure hunts of the event, you won’t be able to purchase a new pet immediately – it’s a condition that you must deal with all six treasure hunts first and they’ll only unlock over the course of the coming days.

Doing these treasure hunts is fairly easy. After starting the event by talking to the familiar NPC, who has shown up to the west of the Court of Fontaine, you teleport near the area denoted on the treasure map you received. Once you’ve arrived inside the correct area, you can activate the Treasure-Seeking Seelie you got from the NPC – make sure to equip it first.

Head to this waypoint west of the Court of Fontaine to begin the event.

You’ll then need to seek out the glowing orbs that appear in your surroundings and tackle the challenge associated with each – these can be about collecting particles in a limited amount of time, defeating enemies and collecting the energy they drop, taking out targets underwater, and so on. Once you’ve completed three challenges, the location of the next treasure chest will be revealed and all you need to do is dig at the appropriate location to collect your Ancient Iron Coins.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches: Mini-Seelie selection

Remember that you can unlock only one Mini-Seelie during this event once you’ve completed all six treasure hunts, so choose wisely. The offerings are largely the same as for the Sumeru-edition of the event – you can see on the screenshot that the Mini-Seelie I chose back then is sold out, so you can't double up by accident. The Mini-Seelie: Brilliance is brand-new, however, and is designed in the watery theme of Fontaine.
