Marvel's Midnight Suns Nico Minoru challenge: Black Shadows mission guide

Midnight Suns has challenge levels that unlock legendary outfits and abilities for each hero. Here's how to complete Nico Minoru's challenge.

In Midnight Suns you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get to know the entire superhero roster. If you reach friendship level five with any member of the team you’ll unlock their challenge mission. Completing this unlocks the legendary Midnight Suns outfit, along with a legendary ability that is sure to wipe the floor with Hydra on the battlefield.

Nico Minoru challenge mission solution - Midnight Suns

This mission will see you face four enemies in a line. You have infinite card plays and two redraws. Your goal is to kill all four enemies in one turn.

Before you do anything, you need to use your two redraws. Redraw Empower to get a second Double Up card, and then redraw Blood Magic to get a different Blood Magic card that applies the strengthened effect.

Now use Blood Magic and both Double Ups. This should leave you with a strengthened effect, two Witchstorm cards (12 damage), and two Witchfire cards (32 damage).

Use both Witchstorm cards on the two enemies on either end. This will cut all four enemies’ health down from 56 to 32.

Next, use both Witchfire cards. These will randomly kill two enemies each, leaving all four dead. A purple crystal will spawn and you’ll be given the Crack the Sky card.

Finally, use Crack the Sky to shatter the crystal and complete the mission.

Nico Minoru challenge mission rewards - Midnight Suns

Nico will unlock the Midnight Suns outfit, letting her fit in with the rest of the black and gold crew. She will also get the Crack the Sky legendary card. This card will consume all Heroism you have built up in order to deal damage to random enemies. The amount of times this card hits depends on how much Heroism you had when you used it.
