If there’s one thing the team behind Fortnite isn’t very good at, it’s keeping secrets. Fortnite leakers are seemingly everywhere and they tend to be far more accurate than your average set of video game leaks. If you stare at it long enough you start to believe conspiracies about it secretly being part of the game’s marketing strategy.

Still, it goes some way to describe the hype around the latest big leaks to come from notable leaker, BurnnLeaks on Twitter last night. The latter half of 2023 is being hyped up as a “big time for Fortnite” by the developers, and it seems a big part of that is a series of collaborations with Activision Blizzard.

According to Burnn, we’ll be seeing Fortnite hold crossover events with Call of Duty, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft before 2023 is over.

The WoW event is the one we know the most about, as a bunch of spells and a new character model are currently being worked on. We don’t know anything content-wise with the Overwatch crossover, but we know it’s planned for Overwatch 2 Season 7, which is set to start in October.

Call of Duty is the crossover we know nothing about just yet, but there are loads of possibilities. It’s possible that later this winter will see the start of Fortnite Chapter 5, and if so there could be major events between the two games such as familiar map locations, CoD weapons in Fortnite, and a bunch of new skins.
