We’ve known the end of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 was coming for a while, and last night we finally got our first teaser for the new season, which is starting on June 9, 2023. Dubbed Fortnite Wilds, the eight-second teaser released on the Fortnite Twitter account shows some quick glimpses of detailed jungle terrain and a few ancient ruins hidden in the trees.

Like most seasons, this will make some major changes to the map with roughly a quarter of it changing design – in this case, to a jungle biome, where it seems there will be a lot to discover. Plus, the thick jungle and hilly terrain could make matches much more interesting.

We don’t know too much about what this season will feature just yet, but we do know it will see the continuation of Fortnite Ranked Season Zero, as the team tweaks and trials the new competitive system.

Plus, credible leakers Shiina and Hypex have revealed the loading screen for the new season which heavily features Optimus Prime, suggesting a big Transformers crossover event will be coming during the season, perhaps as the secret skin, like Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan, was for the previous season.

There’s bound to be more in store, and we’re sure to find out soon as Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 starts June 9, 2023.
