People are bypassing the technical limitations of the Nintendo Switch and playing Pokemon Scarlet & Violet through PC emulation to see the game at higher resolutions.

One fan has taken this further, working on a mod that allows the game to be played at 60fps, and it looks smoother than my bald head.

The modder put out a short clip of them exploring the open world, which you can see in the tweet below.

Nobody knows when theboy181's mod will be available, but fans have criticized Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's performance since launch. The Switch game runs at 30fps and regularly drops below that in busier areas.

On top of that, the game also suffers from bad pop-in, low-resolution textures, and a whole range of bugs.

Of course, running the game on PC is classed as piracy and is not officially sanctioned by Nintendo.
