How to find and beat every Infamous Foe in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy has a bunch of enemies to fight and items to collect, but few foes are greater than Infamous Foes – and few rewards are as, well, rewarding. Infamous Foes are sometimes found within specific quests, or they can be found roaming the lands around Hogwarts.

There are 21 Infamous Foes in total across Hogwarts Legacy, and with this guide you’ll be able to find them all. We’re nailing down every Infamous Foe location with maps and instructions on how to find them. Every Infamous Foe location – Hogwarts Legacy

The Absconder

The Absconder is a giant spider that is, honestly, pretty threatening. You can receive this quest from Edgar Adley in Aranshire. Absconder Encounter is the name of the quest.

The Insatiable Spider

Another giant spider, this one can only be defeated during the Tangled Web quest from Crispin Dunne in Hogsmeade’s The Three Broomsticks.

Rampant Dugbog

This beast is just hanging out near the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame.

Luckily, it’s not a tough fight!

Tempeste Thorne

You can find Tempeste Thorne in Falbarton Castle.

It’s not a tough fight as long as you’re the right level!

Gwendolyn Zhou

Gwendolyn Zhou is hiding out in a cellar in Hogsmeade, but you’ll need the A Basis For Blackmail quest first. You’ll get this quest as part of Natsai “Natty” Onai’s storyline.

Pergit

Pergit can be found to the far West of Hogwarts, inside the Korrow Ruins.

The Riparian Troll

This big beast can only be fought as part of the ‘Beeting’ A Curse quest. You should receive this quest via Owl Post, and it involves Samantha Dale.

The Grim and The White Wolf

Two tough wolves live in the same cave to the West of Keenbridge.

They both count as separate Infamous Foes.

Be careful when fighting them both at the same time!

Quagmire Troll

This beast lives to the South of Keenbridge, on the Eastern side of the river.

It’s tougher than most trolls, so make sure to take some potions.

Catrin Haggarty

You will meet Catrin Haggarty inside the large tent while undertaking The Lost Child quest. This is another quest that’s a part of Natsai “Natty” Onai’s questline.

Belgruff The Bludgeoner

This brutal Goblin lives in the encampment to the Northwest of Feldcroft.

It’s a very simple fight since he’s only level 20.

Oggbert The Odd

Another Goblin, this one is in the Coastal Cavern. He spawns in one of the cavern’s final rooms, just before the North Poidsear Coast Floo Flame.

Iona Morgan

Miss Iona Morgan is hiding out in Poidsear Castle with all of her cronies.

She’s not too tough really, especially if you’re leveled for the surrounding area.

Ailsa Travers and Lord of the Manor

Travelling down to Manor Cape, there are two more foes to beat down here. To find these two, travel inside of the manor itself next to the West Manor Cape Floo Flame, and travel down the stairs.

You’ll need to use Alohomora on a lock in here before confronting Inferius to find them.

Dunstan Trinity

South of Manor Cape you’ll find Henrietta’s Hideaway, and Dunstan Trinity is guarding the entrance with his band of fools.

Silvanus Selwyn

You can find Silvanus Selwyn inside Clagmar Castle at any point, but it’s best tackled along with the late-game Sacking Selwyn quest you can get from Cragcroft.

Grodbik

Another Goblin, you can find this one over the course of the Lodgok’s Loyalty main quest – you can’t miss him!

Alexandra’s Troll

You can meet Alexandra in Brocburrow, and she’ll give you the Troll Control quest, which is where you’ll meet this beastie.

Bardolph Beaumont’s Corpse

This reanimated monster can only be defeated over the course of the Brother’s Keeper quest. You can pick this one up while walking through Upper Hogsfield, where you’ll overhear Dorothy Sprottle talking about her situation.
