You'll hit the level cap at Level 40 in Hogwarts Legacy.

In Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll stop leveling up once you hit Level 40. You likely won’t do this until very late on in the game, as the last handful of levels progress quite slowly.

However, this means you won’t be able to get every talent point in the game, as you’ll only be getting 35 talent points for a selection of 48 skills. This will leave a whopping 13 points unassigned, which can cover multiple talent trees. On top of that, once you’ve picked a talent, there is no way to refund or reassign your points, so make sure you choose wisely.
