How to raise bonds and rewards in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Unlike the standard Yakuza series, the Like a Dragon games use a party system with 10 members that you can recruit and collect. In order to get the most out of your team, and have them help out more in battles, you need to raise your bonds with them.
Here’s how to raise your bond levels and the rewards you get for doing so.

You have quite a few options to increase bond level and complete Drink Links in Infinite Wealth.

There are numerous ways you can increase your bond level, but the easiest way is to complete Bond Bingo. Talking points are all over the map, marked with a pink speech bubble. You will see a prompt to press the top face button on your controller to start each conversation when you are in the right place. Completing a row will offer extra bond points, so make sure you do these. Other green speech bubbles appear on the map at random, and this will help raise your bond as well.
You also gain bond by eating at restaurants, if you order the right combination of items from the menu. The easiest way to do this is to simply purchase everything on the menu, guaranteeing you’ll unlock the bond scene. Only one scene can play each time, but it will let you know the right combination to unlock the other scenes. Eating also gives battle bonuses like boosted defense, bonus EXP, or money, so it’s worth eating out.
Singing karaoke is one way of gaining bond points.

The final quick method for bonds is to sing karaoke. If you select Kasuga or Kiryu, then everyone will gain bond points, but you can select someone specifically if you want to focus on them. Remember to complete your Drink Links whenever they become available, so that you can gain the bonuses from your Bond Levels. You can initiate them at the bar by talking to a character when they have the heart symbol above their head.
Drink Link rewards for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
You will gain a number of rewards for completing Drink Links, which will help hugely in and out of battle. Completing your first will give characters a chance to do a follow-up attack, if your attack downs an enemy. The second level will unlock a powerful partner attack where Kasuga or Kiryu pair up with the character for big damage. The next allows you to perform combo attacks as a standard attack, giving both characters some extra MP back. The fourth level will mean that characters follow up more often.
Completing Drink Links brings a number of rewards.

Outside of battle, it also adds a number of benefits at Alo Happy. Once you have completed your bonds, you will unlock outfits for all your characters to wear. You will also unlock jobs based on your level of bond, giving you more options. Finally, a bond allows you to carry over more inheritance skills, giving you more incentive to change up your jobs often.
