The imprisoned Vae Victis reveals himself as the mastermind behind the weaponization of the Terrormorphs, and you have the opportunity to expose his crimes and likely cause him to be executed – but should you?
This isn’t the only tough choice you need to make in the UC Cabinet room, as you also must choose whether to use Aceles or Microbes to wipe out the Terrormorphs.

Keeping Victis’ crimes a secret is very easy, as he has carefully orchestrated events and fabricated evidence that pins everything on his deceased colleague, so all you need to do is allow this notion to go unchallenged whenever it is brought up. However, all you need to do to prove the opposite is present the evidence you’ve already gathered.
If you keep Victis’ secret, you will unlock a secret questline, where he helps you track down war criminals and bring them to justice. If you expose him, you’ll lock yourself out of his questline, as he will disappear from his cell – presumably as he has been executed.
Either way, the UC Cabinet will reward you by making you a Class One Citizen, giving you 100k credits and a free penthouse in New Atlantis. This means that if we’re talking purely in terms of rewards and content, allowing Victis to get away with his crimes is the better option – it will only be your morality that gets in the way.
