Armored Core 6 story trailer shows the hostile world of Rubicon 3
Armored Core 6: Fires or Rubicon publisher Bandai Namco has just released a story trailer for the game, giving players a glimpse at what awaits them on Rubicon 3, the remote planet where the game's story takes place.
Very cinematic and packed with stunning CGI shots, the trailer brings us up to speed with events that happened right before the game's start, giving us "a reason to exist" as pilot C4-621.
Overall, the trailer is purposefully vague when it comes to story details, which is characteristic of developers FromSoftware, whose games' are known for their often cryptic and elusive storytelling.
What it does well, though, is to give us a good look at what the world of Rubicon 3 will feel like, with its intense and unforgiving epic battles between armored mechs.

In Armored Core 6 you play as a mercenary mech pilot sent to infiltrate Rubicon 3, a remote planet where a mysterious substance has resurfaced. As corporations and resistance group scramble for the resource, you join the struggle piloting your customizable mech in fast-paced, omnidirectional battles taking place on unfathomably huge stages.
The upcoming game's story is not connected to the previous games, so newcomers to the franchise will be able to jump right into AC6 when it arrives.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon launches August 25, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
