Dragon Age 4 gets a new story trailer

Solas powered

BioWare just dropped a short story trailer for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

The trailer is made up of 2D panels and is narrated by Varric Tethras, the dwarven rogue from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

It focuses on Solas, a party member from the last game, and the Dreadwolf himself, who appears to be the main antagonist this time around.

We still have no sense of when the game is coming, but you can check the trailer out below:

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has just hit alpha internally at BioWare, which means the game is playable from beginning to end.

The team is now hard at work on tuning graphics, pacing, in-game relationships, mechanics, and more, as stated in a new BioWare blog post

BioWare also discusses the setting, revealing that we'll be able to visit the city of Minrathous, the capital of the Tevinter Empire.

While previous Dragon Age games have treated magic users with disdain, Minrathous is an entire city fuelled by arcane power.

Elsewhere at BioWare, another team is hard at work on the next Mass Effect game.
