EA FC 24 Premier League POTM: Son Heung-min wins September vote
The EA FC 24 Player of the Month (POTM) vote for September 2023 in the Premier League is over and has a winner: Son Heung-min, the South Korean star of Tottenham Hotspur, has taken the title.
He’s been instrumental in Tottenham Hotspur’s charge to the top of the Premier League, scoring a total of six times in four matches – and each time his contributions were decisive. He scored three times during the 5:2 against Burnley FC, two times to force a 2:2 draw against Arsenal FC, and one time to help the 2:1 victory over Liverpool FC.

Son’s triumph nets him a POTM card in Ultimate Team that increases his OVR to 89 as opposed to his standard card’s 87. Every attribute is boosted for his POTM version with Shooting going up to a strong 91.
Players can obtain the Son Heung-min POTM card in EA FC 24 by completing a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) consisting of six separate tasks. It’ll cost around 710,000 coins to complete all tasks in case players have to buy all the necessary cards on the transfer market.
Tottenham’s captain beat out big names like Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier in the voting, securing enough support among the general user base as well as judges.
The POTM for August 2023, James Madison, is also a Tottenham Hotspur player, so the team is two for two in this particular category.
Serie A’s September 2023 POTM has been announced as well with AC Milan’s Rafael Leão getting the nod. His POTM card propels his OVR to 87 and it’s available via SBC in the game as well. You only need to complete five tasks to obtain it with costs being estimated around 460,000 coins.
It’s been a good round of POTM votes for left-wingers, it seems. Results for Bundesliga and Ligue 1 aren’t out yet.
