EVE Online: Havoc will release on November 14, 2023, as the next expansion for the renowned sci-fi MMO, developer CCP announced during the ongoing EVE Fanfest in Iceland. That name is certainly fitting, considering the firepower and mechanics Havoc is going to introduce: After first being teased all the way back in 2016, the powerful Angel Titans are finally making their way into the game alongside four brand-new factional destroyers and battlecruisers.

You can watch a trailer for the expansion below:

Players will also be able to align themselves with pirates, similar to how a previous expansion allowed them to align with one of EVE’s factions. Pirates can place forward bases, invading a war zone in the process and making them a tough pest to deal with. They can greatly interfere with ongoing conflicts between factions and sow even more chaos in the galaxy. Pirates first infiltrate and corrupt systems through activities before starting an insurgency to take control.

Angel Titans are brand-new ships packing lots of firepower.

You don’t need to join up with those ravagers, of course, and can always remain a force for order – in that case, you can take advantage of brand-new anti-piracy activities, allowing you to clear a system’s corruption.

Changes for Corporation Leaders will arrive with Havoc as well. They will gain more ways to streamline management and reward members of their corporation for their contributions. A fresh role inside the organization, the Corporation Project Manager, will become available as well, which goes hand in hand with several new project types introduced in the expansion.
