Fortnite x Attack on Titan: Leaks confirm Eren Yeager skin for next season

Fortnite's next crossover event has been revealed via leaks, and the Attack on Titan protagonist is coming to the game

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is very nearly over, with March 8, 2023, being the date that it’s set to end, with the Fortnite Cipher quests being the last event for the season. We don’t know exactly what Chapter 4 Season 2 will bring just yet, but we’ve got the first big leak to tell us that a crossover event is happening that has been rumored for a long time, as Fortnite meets Attack on Titan.

This is far from the first anime to have crossover events with Fortnite. Chapter 3 saw a longrunning Dragon Ball Z crossover with skins for several characters, Bulma’s Island on the map, and even a Kamehameha weapon. Then in 2021, there was a Naruto crossover, which again, featured several characters as skins and gave us a couple of unique weapons.

Attack on Titan is next, as according to prominent leakers Hypex and Shiina on Twitter, the series’ protagonist, Eren Yeager, is set to be the secret skin on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass. These are very credible leakers in the Fortnite community with a solid track record of accurate leaks like this.

Geralt of Rivia in Fortnite.

Geralt of Rivia was the most recent Fortnite secret skin.

If you’re unfamiliar with a secret skin, this is a special skin that is released outside of the standard Battle Pass, though you still need to have purchased the Battle Pass to access it. These skins unlock part-way through the season, and you must complete a series of in-game challenges to unlock the skin and various other themed items.

For example, the secret skin for this season is Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series. Geralt’s challenges centered around using melee weapons and taking out valuable opponents, but it’s always a bit different. Last season’s was original character, The Herald, and the season before that it was Indiana Jones – so it’s always a surprise.

It’s unlikely that this will be the only crossover skin this season though, as of late there has typically been one in the main Battle Pass rewards too. In recent seasons we’ve seen the Doomslayer from Doom and Spider-Gwen from Into the Spiderverse in prominent spots.
