Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the likely title of the upcoming Indy game

It turns out the rumors were right. Bethesda and MachineGames' take on Indy is called Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Check out the trailer from the Xbox Direct showcase.

People are very excited for the gameplay reveal of MachineGames and Bethesda’s upcoming Indiana Jones game, which is set to take place during the recently announced Xbox Developer Direct show next week. Ahead of this showcase, game researcher Kurakasis has very likely cracked one of the mysteries surrounding the title already: its name.
It looks like Lucasfilm has registered several domains for the title Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on January 9, 2024, one of them including the word “game” in the URL. It already filed a trademark for this title in Europe two years ago as well that is related to goods and games.
It's almost time to see Indy back in video game action.

That’s pretty much that, then, even though we still shouldn’t take this an official confirmation, of course. We’ll likely get that next week during Microsoft’s showcase, since the Indiana Jones title is one of the four big games already confirmed to appear there. The other three are Ara: History Untold, Avowed, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
MachineGames’ take on Indiana Jones was announced back in January 2021 and we’ve heard basically nothing about it ever since, so it’s going to be fascinating to see what the minds behind the brilliant Wolfenstein reboot have done with everyone’s favorite archaeologist.
Publisher Bethesda initially planned to release this game on PS5 alongside Xbox Series X|S and PC, but Microsoft used the persuasive powers of acquiring the entire company to change those plans.
There have been some gems among previous Indiana Jones games, so this one has big shoes to fill: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, a puzzle game from 1992, is incredibly beloved and was widely acclaimed back when it launched. Of course, there has also been a host of rather mediocre games using the IP, as is often the case with big Hollywood properties.
