PlayStation reveals Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 bundle
PlayStation revealed a new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 bundle at San Diego Comic-Con this Thursday.
The bundle will include the disc-based version of the PS5 console with custom limited edition covers inspired by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2's look and feel, a matching DualSense controller, and a voucher to redeem the digital Standard Edition of the game, which releases October 20, 2023.
As the threat of Venom and the symbiote will be central to the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 story, naturally the custom design features symbiote tendrils consuming a red PS5 with the Spider-Man logo in the lower-right corner.
The back (or bottom) cover is completely black as the symbiote has completely bonded with this side of the console, which also sports a smaller Spider-Man icon.
The limited edition DualSense wireless controller has a matching look and is almost entirely consumed by the symbiote, with only its right side showing tendrils over bright red.

Players who already own a PS5 console will be able to purchase just the limited edition covers, which will be sold separately for both disc-based and digital PS5s. The bundled Spider-Man 2 Dual Sense controller will also be available separately.
The bundled covers and controller, and those sold separately, have exactly the same designs and finish quality, so owners of standard-issue PS5s won't have to buy the console again to get the exclusive Venom/Spidey look.

Pre-orders for the bundle start on July 28, 2023, and players in the US, UK, and other select countries will be able to purchase the limited edition design from the PlayStation Direct store or at other retailers, and it will be available worldwide in limited quantities via select retailers.
The Limited Edition PS5 bundle and the separately sold covers and controller will start shipping on September 1, well ahead of the game's release.
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 video game launches on October 20, 2023, as a PS5 exclusive.
