Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Walking Wake and Iron Leaves raids set for the holiday period

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will be catchable over the holiday period in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet tera raids

With the release of the Indigo Disk DLC, players have got the opportunity to track down and capture the new Paradox Pokémon based on the Legendary Beasts and the Swords of Justice trios. While Raging Bolt, Gouging Fire, Iron Crown, and Iron Boulder are all catchable as standard in the game, the last members of each trio are a little more elusive.

Running from December 25, 2023, to January 7, 2024, Walking Wake will appear in Tera Raid dens in Pokémon Scarlet and Iron Leaves in Pokémon Scarlet. The last time these two were catchable was back in April, which will give anyone who missed those events a chance to complete their collection – and you don’t need the DLC to catch them.

Pokemon SV Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raid

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are catchable for the first time in 8 months.

It’s important to note that only one of these Pokémon can be caught per save file. Meaning if you caught these Pokémon when they were first made available, you won’t be able to catch them again. However, you can still get all of the other raid rewards they offer, so there is still a reason to go out and defeat them.

Like before they will be 5-star raids, meaning they’ll be tough, but not as tough as the big 7-star events. As long as you prepare reasonably strong Pokémon, you shouldn’t have too much trouble taking them down. We recommend using Miraidon or Iron Hands for the Walking Wake raid, and Kingambit or Scizor for the Iron Leaves raid.
