NVIDIA announced that upcoming open-world game Star Wars Outlaws will be available on its cloud gaming service GeForce NOW later this year, marking another high-profile addition to the library. Furthermore, Outlaws will feature DLSS 3, Ray Tracing, and Reflex in order to improve visuals and performance of the title across a variety of systems and hardware constellations.

This announcement did not come alongside more details around the game’s release date, which will fall somewhere into the latter half of 2024. A very short trailer showed some footage from the Ubisoft Massive game, however:

“Here at Massive Entertainment, worldbuilding is a part of our DNA, and what better way to showcase our craft than creating the first-ever open world Star Wars game,” commented Tobias Carlsson, the technical director of the studio. “Filled with distinct locations across the galaxy’s outer rim, both iconic and new, players will be able to experience the Star Wars underworld like never before. DLSS 3 gives us the performance headroom to bring our vision to life and to support additional ray tracing features, helping gamers fully immerse themselves in the adventures of Kay Vess and Nix.”

Alongside the Star Wars news, NVIDIA shared a few other updates ahead of next week’s annual Game Developers Conference (GDC).

The highly-anticipated Black Myth: Wukong, which drew much attention at last year’s gamescom thanks to its spectacular visuals and setting, will be able to use DLSS 3.5 when it launches later this year on August 20, 2024. NVIDIA was also a little less avaricious with the trailer time for this one, showcasing almost two minutes of breathtaking environments from the game:

One of the best free Steam games, Naraka: Bladepoint, will add full ray tracing to three PvE and PvP areas soon with visual upgrades coming to more areas in the future.

This is not the only title to receive this upgrade in the near future: Diablo 4 will get a visual boost on March 26, 2024. This improvement will allow shadows to be portrayed in more detail and will bring more realistic reflections on elements like water and armor to the game. Diablo 4 already launched with DLSS 3 and Reflex.
