Starfield's fully customizable ships let you explore the galaxy in style

Starfield has full ship customization and the team at Bethesda has shown off their strangest spaceships

If you’re going to be traveling between Starfield’s 1,000 planets then you’re going to want a craft that represents you and what you stand for. Thankfully, Starfield has you covered, as the game’s ships are fully customizable.

Revealed in the Starfield Showcase stream, when you first get your ship in-game, it won’t take long before you can take it to pieces and rebuild it how you please. There are pre-made ships that you can buy – kitted out for specific purposes – but you can easily switch things up yourself too.

Some of the team showed off their own creations, including a ship shaped like a platypus, or a spider, or some particular strange creations like “HMS Liberty Optimus” which Bethesda showcase on Twitter.

Looking at these wonderful, horrible creations, it’s safe to say that the only limit is your imagination when it comes to what your ship looks like.

Starfield releases on Xbox Series X/S and PC on September 6, 2023.
