Strategy game Terra Invicta is coming to PC Game Pass in March 2024
There is no other game allowing you to defend Earth from an alien invasion with as much depth as Terra Invicta, a sci-fi grand strategy game putting you in charge of humankind’s destiny in the face of an extraterrestrial arrival. Currently available in Early Access via Steam, Terra Invicta will join the PC Game Pass line-up on March 26, 2024.

Developed by Pavonis Interactive, the group behind the famed Long War mods for XCOM, and published by Hooded Horse, Terra Invicta sold over 200,000 copies since its Early Access start in 2022. It’s appropriate to describe the game as both demanding and captivating – its average play time per user is close to 60 hours.
In Terra Invicta, you take control of one of many human factions on Earth, which all have different ideas on how to react to the arrival of aliens in the solar system. Before even starting to deal with that, you have a lot of work to do to unify humankind and present a single front. But what’ll it be? Resistance at all costs? Acknowledging the aliens as superior beings and accepting them as rulers and gods? Leaving Earth to its fate and booking it on a giant spaceship? There are many such possibilities and you must chart the course for all humankind.
Whatever you do, a lot of management and strategy awaits you: Expansion into the solar system to gather the necessary resources for ship-building, keeping everyone on the same page, getting your defense forces into the right positions – as supreme commander, this is your job.
Terra Invicta is not the only Hooded Horse game available on Game Pass – Against the Storm, the best city-builder of 2023, can already be accessed from the library and one of the most anticipated upcoming strategy games, Manor Lords, is scheduled to join them in April 2024.
