Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: how to get Spare Parts

How to get Spare Parts quickly in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

If you want to get your hands on some of the heavier weaponry in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, then you’re going to need to gather as many Spare Parts as you can. They act as a currency for the Resistance in the game, and they can be quite hard to find – especially in the early game. Still, it’s the only way to get some of the best weapons in the game, so you must go on the hunt for them.

We’ll explain the best places to find Spare Parts, and how you can maximize the amount you earn from Pandora’s various activities.

We have more tips and tricks in store if you check out the things I wish I knew before starting Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Gear from the resistance requires Spare Parts to buy.

The only places you can reliably find Spare Parts are RDA bases. While minor drill stations probably won’t have that many, the larger bases can have loads if you’re careful. When sabotaging an RDA base, you must stay undetected at all costs, as this means there will be more rewards left in the base once you succeed.

After destroying a base you’ll have access to the supply room, and the yellow crates should offer you a decent amount of Spare Parts in each one you defeat.

The best additional way to pick up Spare Parts is to get the Scavenging Expert perk on the “Maker” skill tree, as that will give you a chance to pick up Spare Parts when looting AMPs – the big mech suits you see stomping around the place. These are very common enemies to find, so this will increase your loot yield significantly.
