EA Sports FC 24 release times and preload
Soccer fans are gearing up for the release of the EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition, which is close at hand now. If you bought the Early Access version, kick-off already happened, but now the Standard Edition is joining the fun. As usual, players can also already manage their Ultimate Team via the EA FC 24 Web and Companion Apps, though they won’t be able to play an actual match through these.
Users still want to get started on the pitch as quickly as possible, so knowing the exact EA Sports FC 24 release times and preload dates is essential – and worry not, we’ve got all that information right here for you.
EA Sports FC 24 release times
Unlike the Ultimate Edition, which had one set release time in every region, the EA FC 24 Standard Edition will be released on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 12am local time across the world. This means, of course, that some regions will get to play a bit earlier than others, making the classic New Zealand trick on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S eligible. Basically, you change the location of your console to New Zealand and will be able to play a bit early, as the nation in the Pacific is the first one to cross the dateline.
EA Sports FC 24 preload times
You can preload the game on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 already. If you use this option, you can already download the majority of the game, reducing the time you need to wait when it unlocks. Download sizes will vary between 41 and 45 GB, so make sure to have enough storage space.
There won’t be a preload for Nintendo Switch, but we know that the game will take up at least 31 GB of space on the console.
