FIFA 23 TOTS Swaps: It’s a battle pass now

EA Sports made some changes to the popular Token Swaps format

FIFA 23’s hotly anticipated Team of the Season promo, or TOTS for short, has begun with the votes for Community TOTS and Premier League. EA Sports did not miss the opportunity to add the popular Token Swaps format to this promo, increasing the amount of rewards players can obtain.

However, the developer made drastic changes to how the mechanic works this time around – it took the tokens out of Token Swaps, for one thing. Instead of collecting tokens to exchange for rewards by completing Squad Building Challenges or Objectives, you now have to level up your Season Progress by doing those things.

Yes, FIFA 23 basically has a battle pass now. At least you don’t have to pay for it – yet. Leveling up your Season Progress will give you FIFA 23 TOTS Swaps rewards at each level.

Unfortunately, this change removes a lot of the freedom you previously had when it comes to picking rewards. However, you should at least be able to obtain a lot of the things listed above, since every Objective and SBC you complete contributes to your overall XP and this your level.
