EA

EA, also known as Electronic Arts, is a video game publisher founded in 1982. It is most well-known for publishing games like The Sims, Battlefield, and Mass Effect.

As well as the titles above, EA is well known for its work on sports games. FIFA, NFL games, NHL, and more have become synonymous with the company.

However, 2022 is the last year EA would work with the FIFA license, instead moving to focus its efforts on a soccer game without the famous organization.

In April 2012, Consumerist awarded EA with the title of "Worst Company in America", which came with a Golden Poo Trophy. Since then, EA has done a lot to clean up its image, following a series of scandals related to in-game microtransactions and loot boxes.
