Fortnite 25.20 patch notes: Futurama returns (again)
It’s taken a while for the second major update of Fortnite Wilds to come around, but we’re finally here. Part of the reason it’s taken so long is that a new crossover event is here as Futurama hits Fortnite that adds two new weapons, skins, and a glider to the game. Not to mention a couple of new generic weapons added to the pool out in the world.
Hopefully, things will be alright with the new additions and re-additions in the Fortnite patch notes for v25.20.

Fry, Bender, and Leela skins – Fortnite 25.20

After ten long years, Futurama has returned to our screens following its third cancellation. Clearly, the team wants to make sure it sticks this time as they’re getting themselves in on the Fortnite bandwagon.
Three new skins are purchasable in the item shop, as Fry, Bender, and Leela take the stage. They both also come with alternate styles based on their parallel-universe selves from the episode “The Farnsworth Parabox”. Not to mention extra-themed accessories like Hypnotoad and Nibbler.
Planet Express ship glider – Fortnite 25.20

The Planet Express ship is also up for grabs, as this glider lets you hit the ground in style. It’s a shame we can’t blast around the island in it as a vehicle, but perhaps that would be a bit excessive.
Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun – Fortnite 25.20

A play on our favorite robot’s catchphrase, this new gun can be found as rare ground loot in Fortnite matches, or you can buy it from NPC Bender as long as you have the bars. It’s a plasma weapon with infinite ammo, but it does have the capacity to overheat, so you’ll have to be careful shooting it.
Mammoth Pistol – Fortnite 25.20

Aside from the Futurama stuff, there’s another new weapon added in this update, as the Mammoth Pistol packs quite a punch. It’s a single-shot pistol that you can find anywhere other loot can be found. It uses heavy ammo, so it’ll deal plenty of damage if you can land a shot with it.
New Reality Augments – Fortnite 25.20

As has become standard fare for Fortnite updates of late, there are some new Reality Augments that you can get throughout a match:
- Desperate Reload – Pistols reload faster with an empty clip
- Scoped Salvo – Scoped weapons deal more damage, but have a slower fire rate
