Dedicated dataminers and insiders are regularly delving into the game files to see what they can uncover, and then we get a good look at what to expect in the near future.

The latest update for Helldivers 2 includes a bunch of new weapons that we have now removed from this list, but if you log in now you'll get a bunch of medals for Major Order completion, as well as access to new Super Destroyer upgrades.

Upcoming weapons – Helldivers 2

These are the upcoming weapons we know about thanks to leaks and datamines from Helldivers 2.

• AR-20L Justice (Marksman Rifle) – high-caliber rifle with high damage and medium armor penetration.
• AR-22C Patriot (Assault Rifle) – weapon with high rate of fire and light armor penetration.
• AR-48 Truth Whisperer (Assault Rifle) – silenced weapon that doesn’t alert distant foes with light armor penetration.
• SG-225BB Breaker Bugbiter (Shotgun) – heavier version of the Breaker with more damage, less recoil control and maneuverability, and light armor penetration.
• SG-225NS Breaker Nailspitter (Shotgun) – modified version of the Breaker with higher accuracy, very high recoil, and medium armor penetration.

• Nuclear Bomb – a tactical nuclear strike.
• Eagle Air-to-Air Missiles – homing missiles against flying targets.
• Super Earth Troop Support – airdrops allied troops with a gunship, which fires at nearby targets while transporting them in.
• Carpet Bomb – saturates an area with explosions.
• GL-21 Incendiary Grenade Launcher – shoots grenades that set the ground on fire.
• AD-289 Angel – mobile drone that heals players as well as NPCs, vehicles, and turrets.
• BX-7 Displacer Pack – portable teleportation device saving someone from a killing blow.
• Remote Explosives – calls down a capsule with random explosives inside.
• Piñata Full of Surprises – calls down a capsule with random weapons inside.
• Emancipator – new mech type.
• Airburst Rocket Launcher – rockets that detonate a cluster of explosions on impact, has a surprisingly large range and potential to damage the user.
• New Mines – similar to an early mine stratagem, this places a smaller number of far more powerful mines to target large enemies.
