Hogwarts Legacy Field Guide pages: how to find pages and fill your collection

The Field Guide pages are spread throughout all of Hogwarts Legacy's massive maps, here's how to go about finding them

Field Guide pages are everywhere in Hogwarts Legacy. Your main tool for keeping track of everything there is to see in Hogwarts Legacy is the Wizard’s Field Guide, which you get just after being sorted into your Hogwarts house. It keeps a record of every enemy type you’ll face, along with giving you challenges to do as much you can, with cosmetics and upgrades as rewards.

The biggest challenge is collecting all of the Field Guide pages. These pages are scattered throughout Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the surrounding Highlands, with over 150 to collect. Pokémon, this ain’t - though we do have a guide for all Hogwarts Legacy beast locations - but you’ll want to gather them all if you want to see everything this game has to offer. Watch for golden glows

Your most obvious clue is the golden glow that Field Guide pages give off as you wander past them. The outline of them will appear in front of whatever the page is about, and there’ll be a quiet jingling noise too. Keep an eye and an ear out for them at all times.

Investigate points of interest

Chances are, if it stands out from the surrounding environment in any way, shape, or form, it’ll have a Field Guide page in front of it. Whenever you’re walking past a statue, trophy cabinet, painting, or even particularly fancy window, tap the button for Revelio to see if there’s one nearby.

Use your spells

As you wander the halls of Hogwarts, you’ll no doubt spot statues, fonts, and other items that have a white outline when you approach them. This means that they have some sort of interaction with a spell. In almost every case, your reward for doing them is a Field Guide page.

To name just a few, the statues of the wizard holding a ball require Levioso, the dragon braziers require Incendio, and little notches in the wall require Depulso.

Watch the skies

Not all pages sit around waiting for you to find them, and several will be flying about the place. Anywhere that has a high ceiling in Hogwarts you should have a look and see if a page is flying about. You can use Accio from almost any distance to pull them in. There are even a few floating around outside, especially around Hogsmeade, so always keep an eye out.

Moth mirrors

Once you’ve learned the Lumos spell, you can start making use of the strange blank paintings hung around the school. Cast Lumos next to them and you’ll get a picture of where a moth is located – it’s normally nearby. Go there and cast Lumos again to attract the moth to your wand, take it back to the painting, uncast Lumos, and you’ll get a Field Guide page.
