Hogwarts Legacy release date for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch
Hogwarts Legacy has just launched on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC, but it’s not done yet. While anyone with a decent PC or a brand new console are happy and can start playing now, the game is still due to launch across older consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, in addition to the Nintendo Switch. That last one, especially, might be a bit of a squeeze.
The game is still confirmed for these platforms and although it’s not ready yet, we assume it will be, eventually, and we have release dates that the developers are aiming for. What could a game like Hogwarts Legacy look like on base Xbox One, or even Nintendo Switch? We just don’t know, but we can’t wait to find out.

Hogwarts Legacy PS4 and Xbox One release date
Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch on May 5, 2023 on Xbox One and PS4, according to Wikipedia. That means it’s still a couple of months away, but players that refuse to upgrade their consoles will still be able to enjoy the game, and that’s what matters really.
Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch release date
One more release date for you: Hogwarts Legacy is supposed to launch on Nintendo Switch on July 25, 2023. Honestly, if you ask me, I don’t believe that this game will ever launch on Nintendo Switch, at least not running natively on the console. But I’ve been wrong before, and I would be fascinated to see the developers try and squeeze this game down into a handheld form factor.
