Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC: all legendary auction items and what they do

Here is every legendary auction item in The Indigo Disk DLC and what they do

The Indigo Disk has added 25 new legendaries to the game – 26 if you include the hidden Meloetta – and with that their signature items have also been added. There are eight legendary items in total to collect, and they have effects on only a small number of the legendary Pokémon in The Indigo Disk.

All of these items can be bought from the market in Porto Marinada. Which item you get first will be random, and you’ll have to purchase it if you want to roll for a new one. As these are auction items, their prices will vary, but you are very unlikely to have to spend more than 10k for any one item.

Here is every legendary auction item in The Indigo Disk DLC and what they do.

How to get Latios and Latias’ Soul Dew in The Indigo Disk DLC

Latios and Latias in The Indigo Disk DLC

Latios and Latias’ Soul Dew

The Soul Dew is an item that can be held by any Pokémon, but is useless unless it is held by Latios or Latias. You’ll only get one of them so you’ll have to choose carefully which one you want to hold it. It increases the power of Dragon- and Psychic-type moves used by these Pokémon by 20%. This is a buff over the usual move-boosting item, which will only boost one type of move.

When holding the Soul Dew, Latios and Latias will maintain their appearance. You will only be able to see the held item on the summary screen. You can find the Soul Dew in the pocket with the held items.

How to get Dark and Water Urshifu in The Indigo Disk DLC

Urshifu

Urshifu

Kubfu is one of the few legendary Pokémon that can evolve, and you can evolve it in Scarlet & Violet as well as Sword & Shield. It will evolve when you use either the Scroll of Darkness or the Scroll of Waters on your Kubfu. Once purchased from the auction, you will be able to find these items in the Key Items pocket. The Scroll of Darkness evolves Urshifu into the Dark-type Single-Strike form, while the Scroll of Waters evolves Urshifu into the Water-type Rapid-Strike form.

There is only one Kubfu in the game, which means you will have to choose between the Single-Strike and Rapid-Strike forms. Once you use the Scroll and evolve Urshifu, you will not be able to reverse this and choose the other form.

How to get Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia in The Indigo Disk DLC

Origin Forme Palkia and Dialga

Origin Forme Palkia and Dialga

Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia were first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and they are back in Scarlet and Violet. Currently, the only way to catch Dialga and Palkia is in raids, and you can purchase the Adamant Crystal, and the Lustrous Globe at the auctions. These are held items and can be found in the Held Item pocket.

To change Dialga and Palkia’s forms, all you need to do is give the item to the Pokémon. The Adamant Crystal will change Dialga’s form while the Lustrous Globe changes Palkia’s form. This change is reversible, and they will change back if you remove the held item.

How to get Kyurem White and Kyurem Black in The Indigo Disk DLC

Kyurem Black and Kyurem White

The DNA Splicers are purchasable at the auction, and unlike Urshifu’s Scrolls, you can undo this evolution. After you purchase them you will find the DNA Splicers in your Key Item pocket and to use it you need both Kyurem and either Reshiram or Zekrom in your party. Choose to use the DNA Splicers, then choose Kyurem, and then either Reshiram or Zekrom.

Doing so will combine Kyurem and Reshiram into White Kyurem, and Kyurem and Zekrom into Black Kyurem. If you want to spit the Pokémon apart again all you need to do is use the DNA Splicers on Kyurem once more.

How to get Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings in The Indigo Disk DLC

Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings in The Indigo Disk DLC

Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings

To change Necrozma into Dusk Mane you will need the N-Solarizer, and you’ll need the N-Lunarizer for Dawn Wings. You purchase both of these in the auction and you will need Necrozma and either Solgaleo or Lunala in your party in order to use it.

To combine these Pokémon, first select the N-Lunarizer or N-Solarizer from your Key Items pocket, and then select Necrozma. After that, you need to select Solgaleo if using the N-Solarizer, or Lunala if using the N-Lunarizer. To undo this fusion use the N-Solarizer on Dusk Mane or the N-Lunarizer on Dawn Wings. When they combine the new Pokémon will learn Lunala or Solgaleo’s signature moves, but it will forget these moves as soon as you split them.
