11-year-old boy uses chatbot AI to create a Harry Potter game
ChatGPT has been the talk of Twitter this past week, giving us all a glimpse into a bleak future where stories, news, poetry, and more are generated by artificial intelligence.
People have been using the chatbot to reinvent capitalism, solve the world's problems, and have deep philosophical conversations. It's scarily authentic.
One boy has taken this even further by prompting the AI to create a text-based Harry Potter game where the player makes a choice and the chatbot creates scenarios.
To start the game, the kid simply entered the following prompt:
“You are a text-based video game where you give me options (A, B, C, and D) as my choices. The setting is Harry Potter. I start out with 100 health.”
You can use this as a template to create your own scenarios, using any number of established or original worlds.
