Fortnite Recon Scout skin is available for the first time in over 600 days
To put it mildly, Fortnite has a lot of skins – over 1,500 skins last we checked. Plenty of these are sought after because they’re a crossover property with Marvel or Star Wars, but sometimes, seemingly normal skins become rare prizes that dedicated fans want to seek out. Such is the case with the Recon Scout skin.
Debuting in November 2017 – just a couple of months following the game’s launch – the Recon Scout is a cool-looking skin that features one of the default Fortnite characters kitted out in military scout gear. It’s nothing special on the surface, but it’s become a bit of a big deal whenever it appears in the store now.
In this case, it has appeared as part of Tfue’s Locker Bundle, which is available for 1,600 V-Bucks. This bundle has items hand-picked by prominent Fortnite streamer, Tfue, who has over 11 million followers on Twitch.
This marks the first time this rare skin has appeared in the store since July 28, 2021, 678 days ago. We don’t know how long this bundle will remain in the store but given that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 starts next week, you might have to act fast if you want it.
