Warhammer 40,000: Gladius is now free on Steam
Good news for anyone who loves turn-based strategy games like Age of Wonders as well as the utterly grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000, because Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War is now free to claim on Steam. You can grab the 4X – the emphasis is on “exterminate” in this case – until June 1, 2023, by grabbing it from the Steam store page.
Gladius is one of the best Warhammer 40,000 games and takes many aspects from series such as Civilization and Age of Wonders, mixing them with the glorious brutality that is combat in the 40k universe.
The game features various powerful hero characters, which can be equipped with many mighty artifacts and weapons that you uncover on the map – the titular Relics of War. Keeping alive your units in one priority in Gladius, keeping them sane another, for the influence of Chaos is never far away and might lead to your units turning on you.
There is a ton of DLC for Gladius as well, which expands the game with lots of additional factions, so the supply of content for those liking the base game and wanting more is guaranteed.
