WWE 2K23 DLC teased with a cryptic image puzzle

WWE 2K23's DLC reveal is imminent, and a teaser image has been released with cryptic clues to roster members

For the past few weeks, the team behind WWE 2K23 has been showcasing exclusive content on the WWE 2K Showdown streams. These include entrance videos, exclusive screenshots, and new ratings from the full WWE 2K23 roster, but the most recent one had something a bit juicier. During the stream the screen glitched and a QR code showed on the screen.

Scanning the QR code would show you this image:

This image is full of clues about wrestlers that will be included in WWE 2K23’s DLC packs, which is good news if you’re planning on buying the Season Pass. Some straight-up list the wrestler’s name, while others are slightly more cryptic images that are open to interpretation.

Still, the community was immediately on it, and a list of credible wrestlers has been formed. Bear in mind, these are not 100% confirmed. We may have misinterpreted some clues or missed others entirely, but this is the best list we could put together.

  • Bray Wyatt
  • Luke Gallows
  • Karl Anderson
  • Mia Yim
  • Eve Torres
  • Blair Davenport
  • Nathan Frazer
  • Trick Williams
  • Chase U
  • Wendy Choo
  • Schism
  • Tony D’Angelo
  • The Diamond Mine
  • Tiffany Straton
  • Bad News Barrett
  • Harley Race
  • Luna Vachon
  • Carlito
  • DDP

Some of these names, like Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett, are no surprise, as they’ve been teased repeatedly over the past couple of weeks, but there are a few shockers on there. Harley Race and Luna Vachon are legends that typically go unrecognized by WWE, as they did their most prominent work outside of the promotion – so it’s nice to see them get this nod.

There are plenty of NXT wrestlers on the list as always, with names like Blair Davenport, Tony D’Angelo, and Wendy Choo sure to please fans of the developmental brand.

Then, of course, there are some main roster WWE wrestlers who made their returns to the company in late 2022. The OC and Mia Yim both returned too late to make the on-disk roster for WWE 2K23, but the DLC gives the development team more time to work on them.
