The 10 best Starfield mods you should download right now
While it’s not been out for very long just yet, Starfield already has its fair share of modders looking to tweak and improve aspects of the game. It may be too early in the game’s life to have crazy mods like Thomas the Tank Engine enemies and cheese raining from the sky, but there are some key improvements out there that PC players will want to install.

Starfield Upscaler

The lack of DLSS on the PC version of Starfield was a point of contention for many, as those running Nvidia RTX cards could’ve had a much smoother experience with the game if they had it. It didn’t take long for the community to fix it with Starfield Upscaler as you can now use this mod to enable DLSS, and adds an extra option for XeSS if non-Nvidia users want to try a different setting too.
StarUI

If you’ve ever modded a Bethesda RPG before, then you’ll be familiar with the types of mods that are always popular, and this style of UI mod is one of them. With StarUI you will get a much more compact and much more detailed inventory screen, letting you sort your items by just about every metric, as well as being quicker and easier to navigate using a mouse than the controller-friendly default UI.
Achievement Enabler

There’s no shame in using console commands in Starfield – if anything, Bethesda games encourage such behavior. However, in Starfield you’ll be punished for doing so by having your ability to earn achievements disabled. This is an easy fix though, as this Achievement Enabler mod will turn them back on for you.
Starfield Script Extender

This isn’t a flashy mod that adds anything to the game, but it’s a vital modding tool that you’ll need to install to do anything cool with the game. While most Starfield mods don’t require this Starfield Script Extender yet, if its equivalent mod for Skyrim is any indication, it will eventually become a mandatory download.
Jetpack Overhaul

Once you’ve worked out how to unlock Boostpacks in Starfield, you’ll quickly find that, though useful, they are somewhat limited. Rather than acting as a fully controllable jetpack, the boost is entirely fixed every time you press the button.
