Fortnite Spider-Man event: How to get the Miles Morales skin
After Star Wars took over Fortnite earlier in the month, we’re back to Marvel now, although this time we’re going into the Spider-Verse. There’s a cool new item available that you’ll need to complete this week’s challenges, not to mention a brand new Miles Morales skin in the item shop.
We'll tell you how to grab the skin, where to pick up the new item, and how to complete this week's Spider-Man-themed Fortnite weekly challenges.
How to get the Miles Morales Fortnite skin
As this is an event skin, you’ll need to pay for it if you want it. While you can buy it separately, there is a bundle available right now for both the Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 skins, costing 2,600 V-Bucks, which is roughly $15 worth.
Spider-Man event quests – Fortnite
The Spider-Man stuff is also overtaking the weekly quests this week, most of which require you to get the Spider-Verse Web Swinger item:
- Collect the Spider-Verse Web Shooter
- Purchase an item from Gwen
- Swing onto a Grind Rail using the Spider-Verse Web Shooters
- Hit an opponent while airborne
- Swing 10 using the Spider-Verse Web Shooters before landing
Spider-Verse Web Shooter locations – Fortnite
As you probably expect, this cool new item will let you swing around like Spider-Man using webs. One way to get them is to loot to your heart’s content, as they can randomly be found just about anywhere. However, if you want a more reliable method, then you can talk to Spider-Gwen and trade her some bars in exchange for the item.

You can find Gwen in Slappy Shores, which is on the east side of the map. She can trade you bars for some items and will have different reactions to you depending on what Spider-Man skin you’re wearing – especially if you show up in a Spider-Gwen outfit (one of the best Fortnite skins, we’ll have you know).
