Odin's Ravens are back in God of War Ragnarok, and they're spread across all nine realms. You can't explore without hearing one of Odin's Ravens chirping somewhere nearby, the spectral little gits.

Some of them can be tricky, but here’s how you can find all 48 of Odin's Ravens in God of War Ragnarok.

What are Odin's Ravens?

As with God of War 2018, the world of God of War Ragnarok is brimming with spectral Ravens, which are essentially collectibles that you have to murder with your ax. Could have made a good murder of crows joke here if it were a different bird, but I digress.

Every time you've bagged a bunch of birds, you can go back to the Raven Tree in Niflheim to turn them in and open one of the chests for some rewards. Standing next to each chest tells you how many Ravens you need to open it up.

Tips for finding Odin's Ravens

If you're struggling to track down some of Odin's Ravens, even with this location guide, you might be looking for some general tips. One of the best ways to find the birds is by listening out for their caws. That's obvious, but there's another way to use sound to help you pinpoint exactly where they are.

If you head into God of War Ragnarok's accessibility settings, you can turn on subtitles that give you a direction indicator based on sound. Set this up and it'll give you an arrow-shaped pointer that tells you what direction the caws are coming from. It's a brilliant accessibility addition, but it's also handy for finding those pesky Ravens.

Another thing worth noting is that you might just not have the equipment yet, or you might need to progress further into the story. In this Odin's Ravens guide, we've split the Ravens by realms, but that doesn't mean you'll be able to grab them all on your first visit to a realm. If you're struggling to tick one off, go do something else and check back later.

Note: While we're doing our best to add all 48 Ravens to this guide, we're working our way through from the early game onwards. Keep checking back as we update the guide throughout the week.

God of War Ragnarok - Bay of Bounty Raven locations

The Bay of Bounty raven is sitting on a grassy verge in God of War Ragnarok.

Do the quest called Weight of Chains, where you explore atop the creature that was submerged in the Bay of Bounty.

You can find the Raven on the north side of Lyngbakr Island from the first dock. You just need to use firebombs to clear the rubble, grapple over the gap, and duck through the crawlspace. Odin's Raven is on your left.

You can throw your ax at the one above it as many times as you like and you’ll never hit it. But look to your left and you’ll see another twilight stone against the wall. Aim your throw at this one until it arcs toward the one above the raven. Throw it and you’ll have bagged the bird.
