Pokémon Go Raging Battles: all Research Tasks
Blow your war horns, for Raging Battles are upon us in Pokémon Go. Running from January 19 to 24, 2024, this event offers juicy bonuses for participating in the Go Battle League such as a quadruple Stardust reward for wins and introduces Annihilape to the game. In addition, Team Go Rocket Grunts spawn more often than usual, giving you the opportunity to farm those Mysterious Parts to build Rocket Radars, and Throh and Sawk, which are usually regional Pokémon, appear worldwide.
As usual, this event comes with a whole bunch of Research Tasks to complete on top of offering some Collection Challenges, all of which bring you some rewards.

Pokémon Go Raging Battles: all Timed Research Tasks
The free Go Battle Week Timed Research will only be available during the event’s timeframe, so make sure to complete it and claim its rewards before the event ends.
Here are the tasks and rewards that await you:
- Battle in the Go Battle League 5 times: XP x7,500
- Battle in the Go Battle League 10 times: XP x7,500
- Use 10 super effective Charged Attacks: XP x7,500
- Power up Pokémon 10 times: XP x7,500
- Complete all tasks in this step: Rare Candy x3, Elite Charged TM x1, Ingo Hat x1
There is also a paid Timed Research called Raging Battles, which is available for $2 USD in the in-app store.

- Win 3 raids: Rare Candy x3
- Defeat 4 Team Go Rocket Grunts: Rocket Radar x1
- Power up Pokémon 25 times: Stardust x5,000
- Complete all tasks in this step: Premium Battle Pass x2, Stardust x5,000
Pokémon Go Raging Battles: all Field Research Tasks
Available for the event duration at PokéStops, you can work on Field Research Tasks whenever you want once you’ve claimed them by spinning photo discs.
Here are all exclusive Field Research Tasks for Raging Battles:
- Catch 3 Fighting-type Pokémon: Revive x5 or Hyper Potion x5
- Power up Pokémon 5 times: Mankey
- Win 2 raids: Stardust x3,000
- Defeat 2 Team Go Rocket Grunts: Mysterious Component x1
