These announcements were made during Capcom’s most recent showcase and came side by side with the confirmation of a release date for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak on consoles and the drop of a demo for Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Exoprimal is a full-price online multiplayer shooter with a battle pass business model featuring cosmetics and other items. Pre-orders for the game have started, granting those who purchase it early a series of skins:

  • Shark's Mouth (Gray) exosuit skin for Deadeye

  • Bush Camo exosuit skin for Witchdoctor

If you want to get a taste of the dinosaur-on-mech action before opening your wallet, you should know about the open beta test that’s starting very soon. Running from March 17 to 19, 2023, this will be your opportunity to dive into Capcom’s multiplayer shooter and make an informed purchasing decision.

If you’re wondering why soldiers in exosuits are fighting dinosaurs, here’s the official breakdown of the game’s background story:

The year is 2040…Sudden dinosaur outbreaks have engulfed the globe in a crisis that threatens humanity's very existence.

Yet all hope is not lost. The corporation Aibius has developed a hyper-advanced AI called Leviathan that can predict the location of future outbreaks. This technology, along with Aibius's revolutionary powered suits, or exosuits, gives humanity a fighting chance to stem the tide of the saurian swarms. Exosuit pilots, otherwise known as exofighters, are in high demand. Take the exofighter aptitude test and join the ranks of Aibius's heroic pilots in their fight to stave off the extinction of the human race.

Exoprimal’s gameplay is class-based and features different PvPvE game modes – with the environmental dangers being hungry, hungry dinosaurs.
