F1 23 rewards players with Red Bull Miami livery in new challenge
EA Sports has revealed a new challenge available in F1 23’s F1 World hub, which allows you to obtain Red Bull’s special livery used during the Miami Grand Prix earlier this year as a reward. In honor of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix held in Spielberg, you’re tasked with completing a Hot Lap Challenge around the picturesque track located in the Alps.
Depending on how well you do, you’ll win a bronze, silver, or gold medal and obtain different rewards:
- Bronze Medal – 01:22.800 or better: RB19 Miami Livery, Car Part or Team Member (Rare), Bronze Insight Token x10, Car Part or Team Member (Legendary)
- Silver Medal – 01:10:679 or better: Car Part or Team Member (Epic), Silver Insight Token x3
- Gold Medal – 01:06:901 or better: Car Part or Team Member (Legendary), Gold Insight Token x1
Head to F1 World, Play, Solo & Multiplayer Events, and finally Race Week: Hot Lap Challenge after logging into F1 23 to compete in this challenge. Simply logging in to the game during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend nets you Max Verstappen’s special helmet design from Miami – expect to see it in your in-game mail on July 3, 2023.
Codemasters and EA Sports have more planned for F1 23 in July than just this challenge: F1 Replays Mode will debut, which will enable players to jump into one of the twenty cockpits on the grid based on their real race starting position. Think you can do better than a certain driver? Well, go on and prove it.
In addition, you can expect challenges themed around the British, Hungarian, and Belgian Grands Prix to arrive in the game as well – the race calendar sure is busy before the summer break.
