EA Sports’ latest soccer simulation game is in players’ hands, but its ice hockey counterpart is not too far behind: NHL 24 is set to be released on October 6, 2023, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. As is customary, the developers have been releasing some player ratings ahead of the release date.

We have now arrived at the highlight of this phase with the reveal of the 50 best NHL 24 players, which you can check out below.

Canadian star Connor McDavid leads the rankings with an unbeatable 97 OVR, leading a quartet of pursuers that fill up this year’s top five ranked players: These are Colorado Avalanche players Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon, Czech right-winger David Pastrnak, and McDavid’s German team mate Leon Draisaitl. All of them have 95 OVR, trailing McDavid by two points.
