EA Sports has a surprise in store for FIFA 23 players in the form of FUT Ballers, a completely new promo in the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) mode that will begin soon. It’s not often that EA launches a brand-new program in the popular game mode, so this is an exciting development.

While EA has not yet released details about how FUT Ballers will work, the ever industrious FUT leaker community already has some ideas about what players can expect from this promo.

We’ve sifted through all the available information for you, so here’s everything we know about the FIFA 23 FUT Ballers promo.

FIFA 23 FUT Ballers: start date

FUT Ballers will follow up on FUT Fantasy, which is scheduled to end on March 17, 2023. EA has already confirmed this through an announcement loading screen in FIFA 23.

FUT Ballers will start at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 6pm GMT / 7pm CET on Friday, March 17, 2023.

FIFA 23 FUT Ballers: mechanics

While we don’t know what to expect mechanically from FUT Ballers in detail just yet, leakers like the reliable Fut Sheriff have given us the general idea behind the promo, which is said to be a bit like Numbers Up, which appeared in FIFA 22 in the past.

FIFA 22 Numbers Up.

FUT Ballers is said to somewhat resemble FIFA 22's Numbers Up promo.

That means that over the course of the promo featured players may get one of their attributes upgraded to the maximum possible value in the game, 99.

In addition, it appears that FUT Ballers won’t feature any traditional FUT pack releases. Instead, all of the promo’s players will be available through Squad Building Challenges (SBC) and Objectives.

You’ll need to complete Play to Style Objectives to get upgrades, which include rating upgrades, new traits, and additional skill move stars. These Play to Style Objectives allow you to unlock a FUT Birthday Team 1 Pack as well. FUT Birthday will follow FUT Ballers into the game on March 24, 2023.
