Punish all evil with the best Honkai: Star Rail Hanya build and bring karmic retribution to all who deserve it. This judge of the Xianzhou Luofu’s Ten-Lords Commission deals Physical Damage and is a follower of The Harmony. She’s a 4-Star character primarily intended to take on a role that supports the rest of the team.

Hanya’s Skill, Samsara, Locked, deals Physical Damage based on her Attack to a single target and inflicts them with Burden. For every two Basic Attacks, Skills, or Ultimates allies use on a target with Burden, they’ll recover a Skill Point. Burden can only be applied to one target at a time and disappears after two Skill Points have been recovered through its effect. Thanks to Hanya’s Talent, Sanction, damage dealt by allies’ Basic Attacks, Skills, or Ultimates against a target with Burden is increased for two turns. Two of her Traces further provide small Attack and Energy Regeneration boosts to allies attacking a target with Burden.

Hanya records criminal deeds and punishes them.

Her Ultimate, Ten-Lords’ Decree, All Shall Obey, targets a single ally to increase their Speed and Attack for two turns.

Hanya’s Eidolon Levels can be upgraded by getting additional copies of her and boost her capabilities even more. Eidolon 1 advances Hanya’s turn by 15% when an ally under the influence of her Ultimate defeats an enemy. Eidolon 2 increases Hanya’s Speed by 20% upon using her Skill. Eidolon 4 extends the duration of her Ultimate by another turn and Eidolon 6 increases her Talent’s damage boost by a further 10%.

Honkai: Star Rail – Hanya: best Light Cones

The Path of the Harmony has only access to one 5-Star Light Cone at the moment: The Battle Isn’t Over, the signature gear of Bronya. Hanya certainly benefits from this Light Cone, allowing her to use her Ultimate more often thanks to its Energy Regeneration capabilities.

The Battle Isn’t Over allows her to restore a Skill Point for the team after activating her Ultimate as well as to buff the next acting ally’s damage after using her Skill – all effects support the team.

Best Light Cones for Hanya:

  • The Battle Isn’t Over (5-Star)
  • Dance! Dance! Dance! (4-Star)
  • Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds (4-Star)
  • Past and Future (4-Star)
  • Planetary Rendezvous (4-Star)

You can certainly gear Hanya up with offensive stats, which maximizes the damage she can deal through her Skill. However, you’ll probably want to beef up her defenses if you need her in a Support role, which is what this build will focus on.

Honkai: Star Rail – Hanya: best teams

Hanya is a strong generalist support, who can greatly enhance the damage output of a team’s Main DPS as well as provide enough Skill Points to allow a party to unfold its true potential.

Imbibitor Lunae is incredibly Skill Point-hungry, which leaves very little room for anyone else. With Hanya providing additional Skill Points and buffing Imbibitor Lunae’s damage alongside Yukong, the awakened dragon will have even greater damage output. You may even have Skill Points left over for a last-second heal from Luocha, Bailu, Huohuo, or another healer.

In general, Hanya is a benefit to basically any Main DPS, so feel free to experiment with her and try compositions that didn’t previously work due to a lack of Skill Points for everyone.

Hanya isn't exactly an extroverted type.

Honkai: Star Rail – Hanya: ascension materials

Here’s everything you need to know to get Hanya ascended to the maximum level and upgrade all of her talents.

Hanya requires the following ascension materials to get to level 80 in addition to the necessary XP:

  • Credits x246,000
  • Artifex’s Module x12
  • Artifex’s Cogwheel x13
  • Artifex’s Gyreheart x12
  • Netherworld Token x50

You can collect Artifex’s Modules, Cogwheels, and Gyrehearts from enemies on the Xianzhou Luofu as well as the Simulated Universe. You can create or exchange them through the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express, too. Artifex’s Modules are one of the materials you can easily farm through the Daily Assignments to your characters, making for a steady income of the material.

Netherworld Tokens are dropped from the Stagnant Shadow in the Fyxestroll Garden or gained through exchange. The best source of Credits is the Great Mine’s Golden Calyx.

You don't want to get onto her bad side, that's for sure.

Hanya requires the following materials to upgrade her combat abilities and Traces:

  • Credits x2,400,000
  • Artifex’s Module x28
  • Artifex’s Cogwheel x42
  • Artifex’s Gyreheart x42
  • Harmonic Tune x12
  • Ancestral Hymn x54
  • Stellaris Symphony x105
  • Regret of Infinite Ochema x12
  • Tracks of Destiny x5

For the materials already mentioned, check above. Harmonic Tune, Ancestral Hymn, and Stellaris Symphony can be farmed in the Crimson Calyx at the Robot Settlement in Belobog’s Underworld. As usual, you can create the high-level materials by using up lower-level materials in the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express.

Regret of Infinite Ochema is a rarer material only gained from the Echo of War (Scalegorge Waterscape) domain, while Tracks of Destiny can be obtained during time-limited events, the Embers Exchange, the Nameless Honor, or as a Simulated Universe Points Reward.
