Bring your iron fist to a gunfight with the best Honkai: Star Rail Luka build and unleash punches that do more than just break some jaws or achieve a one-hit knock-out in the ring. Luka is from Belobog’s underworld and is the reigning champion of Boulder Town’s fight club, but the boxer also has a sensitive side: He’ll often hang out with the Moles and assist Wildfire in helping out the town. Following the Path of The Nihility, Luka deals Physical Damage and specializes in DoT effects.

Luka’s Skill, Lacerating Fist, deals Physical Damage based on his Attack stat to a single target with a 100% base chance to cause Bleed for three turns. The amount of DoT taken by enemies from Luka’s Bleed is based on their own maximum HP and can’t exceed a certain threshold based on Luka’s Attack.

Using his Skill or Basic Attack creates a stack of Fighting Will for Luka, of which he can have up to four. If Luka has two or more stacks of Fighting Will, his Basic Attack is enhanced. Enhanced Basic Attacks will activate Bleed on targets affected by that status one additional time.

Luka has the grindset of a champion.

His Ultimate, Coup de Grâce, not only creates two stacks of Fighting Will, but has a 100% base chance to debuff the target for three turns, making it take more damage from all sources. It also deals Physical Damage based on his Attack to the target.

Luka’s Eidolon Levels, which can be increased by obtaining additional copies of him, modify his abilities. Eidolon 1 increases his damage by 15% for two turns when his target is affected by Bleed. Eidolon 2 grants Luka an additional stack of Fighting Will for hitting enemies with the Physical Weakness through his Skill. Eidolon 4 boosts his Attack by 5% for every stack of Fighting Will he has obtained. Finally, Eidolon 6 increases the damage done by enhanced Basic Attacks.

Honkai: Star Rail – Luka: best Light Cones

Luka can make great use of any 5-Star Light Cone that The Nihility has to offer so far, benefiting greatly from their Attack and Effect Hit Rate buffs. In terms of more widely available 4-Star Light Cones, his signature weapon Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is a solid option, allowing him to lower the Defense of his targets. Before the Tutorial Mission Starts is another fantastic option for those without a 5-Star Light Cone.

Honkai: Star Rail – Luka: best teams

Luka is perfect to complement a DoT-centric line-up as a damage dealer and Physical breaker.

This team comes with several abilities that increase the amount of DoT enemies take, stacking them up to deal tons of damage between their turns thanks to all of these debuffs. Add Luocha, Natasha, Lynx, Huohuo, or Bailu in the healer slot and you’ll have a strong team together. Be aware that you need to carefully tune your Speed when playing this composition, since everybody should act before Kafka to maximize her damage.

Luka can also be used as a debuff character in teams that don’t focus on DoT, as his Ultimate is perfect to soften up a single enemy for all kinds of damage.
