The Resident Evil 4 remake is out now, and it has a bunch of brand-new merchant requests in addition to the classic selection of Blue Medallions. Now you’ll be hunting all kinds of monsters big and small: the smallest, of course, being the rats.

There are three different Pest Control requests to complete in the Resident Evil 4 remake, and they all revolve around killing rats. They’re easy to kill, of course, just somewhat tough to find. Abandoned Factory rat locations, Chapter 2 – RE4 Remake

Once you exit the Abandoned Factory in Chapter 2, you’ll come across the merchant, and the first Pest Control request. There are three rats to find here.

The first is in the long hallway, near the end.

There’s another just through the window you need to jump through.

And the third and final rat for this area is also in this room, running around near the furnaces.

Grand Hall rat locations, Chapter 9 – RE4 Remake

There are another three rats to find in Chapter 9’s Grand Hall, along with the More Pest Control request.

The first rat is just through the door next to the request, in the first part of the Dining Hall.

You can find another on the path towards the Armory from the Grand Hall.

You can find another in the long hallway in the library – you might need to come back during Chapter 10.

Waste Disposal rat locations, Chapter 14 – RE4 Remake

There’s just one more Pest Control request left, titled Even More Pest Control. There are four rats to find in Chapter 14’s Waste Disposal area, so let’s get em.

The first is running around in the hallway where you saw the Ganados emerge to grab Ashley. This is where you first entered the Waste Disposal area.

For the next you need Ashley to raise the bridge. It’s in the far right corner.

Head through the office, and around to the far side of the Waste Disposal. You can find another rat on the balcony here.

There’s a final rat in the same area as the last, and that’s all of the Pest Control requests complete.
