Full Ihen-a Shrine walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

With 150 shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there’s always something to do nearby, no matter where you are in the world. Not every shrine is necessary, but given they provide Lights of Blessing, which can be used to increase your HP and stamina wheels, doing as many as you can is advised.

Ihen-a Shrine is located in the Lanayru Great Spring, near Zora’s Domain, and is right by a location that you’ll need to visit a couple times throughout the quest prior to the Water Temple. Because of that, it’s a good idea to pick up the shrine as soon as you visit it, so you can easily fast travel back later. This guide will take you through everything you need to know to clear Ihen-a Shrine.

Ihen-a Shrine solution – Zelda TOTK

Upon entering Ihen-a Shrine, you’ll see a small collection of Zonai hover stones scattered throughout the room.

You’ll want to use Ultrahand to pick up the hover stone immediately in front of you, then angle it upwards like a ramp and place it against the ledge in front of you.

Next, pick up the hover stone on the ground, and place it in front of the angled hover stone that you previously placed. Step up onto the stone on the ground, then climb up the angled one onto the ledge.

After turning the corner, you’ll see a large grate up against the right hand wall — pick it up, rotate it so it’s flat, then attach it to the front of the hover stone in the center of the room.

Activate the hover stone by hitting it, then use Ultrahand to move the makeshift bridge so you can walk across the chasm.

Once across, grab the bridge again, then raise it into the air and place it above the chasm so the hover stone part of the structure overhangs to the player-accessible ridge.

Switch your ability to Ascend, then stand under the hover stone and ascend through it, walking across the bridge to clear the chasm.

In the next room, pick up the ball that’s sitting on the pedestal and attach it to the front of the hover stone to your right.

Climb up onto the hover stone, then get your bow out and fire an arrow at the glowing pillar switch on the ground to be sent across the chasm.

Climb off the hover stone, then use Ultrahand to unfuse the ball from the stone and place it in the recess to unlock the gate to the goal.
