Activate all Skyview Towers to uncover the entire Tears of the Kingdom map

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a huge, entry into the Zelda series, and although it is mostly the same Hyrule you already explored in Breath of the Wild, there’s even more here for players to sink their teeth into. And the best way to get your bearing when exploring Hyrule is through the Skyview Towers.

Not only will Skyview Towers expand your map, but they will also shoot you into the sky, giving you a great point to Paraglide from, or perhaps even Sky Islands to explore. In order to your fill of Tears of the Kingdom’s new Hyrule, just visit the Skyview Towers in this guide.

Lookout Landing, Central Hyrule

Lookout Landing is the first Skyview Tower you can use, and it should also be your first port of call after touching down on Hyrule.

You can access the Skyview Tower by following the quest outlined in our Paraglider guide.

Lindor’s Brow, Hyrule Ridge

To the Northwest of Lookout Landing you’ll find Lindor’s Brow.

This tower is surrounded by a moat, essentially – but there is a stash of materials nearby that you can use to make a bridge to get inside the tower.

Hyrule Field, Hyrule Field

This one isn’t too tough to reach early on in the game, just being Southwest of Lookout Landing.

But the tower is surrounded by a monster camp, featuring several tough foes.

Eldin Canyon, Eldin

Northeast of Lookout Landing, up the hill a bit, you can find the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower.

The door to this one is broken – in order to get inside, you’ll need to ascend upwards and jump in through the open roof.

Upland Zorana, Lanayru

This is basically a straight shot East from Lookout Landing and up some mountains.

Up here you’ll find a struggling Zora guard, and the tower covered in sludge. You should use water to clean them off – throwing Splashfruit works, but a Hydrant Zonai device would be even better.

Mount Lanayru, Lanayru

This one is located on top of Mount Lanayru, as the name indicates. There’s a bunch of Wood and Flint nearby, which is good, as you’ll need fire to melt the ice covering the entrances. A Zonai Flame Emitter works even better.

Ulri Mountain, Akkala

This one is pretty simple. An Aeurocuda has stolen the Skyview Tower’s terminal.

Just shoot it down with an arrow and then use Ultrahand to put the terminal back inside.

Sahasra Slope, Necluda

This one is a little tricky – the door is locked and nobody can figure out why.

Head down the hill and you’ll find a cave filled with rocks. Smash through the rocks and seek an inner chamber – look up to see a rock jutting out of the ceiling. Using Ascend here should take you up and inside the Skyview Tower.

Popla Foothills, Faron

This is a bit awkward – the Skyview Tower is broken, and the mechanic is nowhere to be seen.

Head to the South down a cliff, near a well. You’ll see a cave leading to the underside of the Skyview Tower, and down here, the engineer is trapped. Use the switch in here to free him, and you’ll be able to use the Skyview Tower.

Rabella Wetlands, East Necluda

The tower in the Rabella Wetlands is covered by spiky thorns, making it impossible to get inside. You can burn them, but the rain is going to make it hard.

Use the building materials nearby to make a rain shelter, use it to cover the thorns near the door, and then use a Fire Fruit or something similar to set fire to the thorns. Easy.

Gerudo Canyon, Gerudo Desert

There’s an engineer here to fix the tower, but he can’t make the elevator work.

Head up to the Skyview Tower, and attach large, heavy items to the chain on the end of the elevator. This will pull up the engineer, who will fix the tower for you to use.

Gerudo Highlands, Gerudo Highlands

This tower is covered in snow – you literally can’t even see the door, making it tough to get inside. Just North of the tower is a cave with Chillshrooms outside – head on in. You’ll need to make a raft with barrels and nearby materials, and then float down the river inside.

You’ll come to the end of the river – you can place wood and other materials between the center of the four wooden pillars, and then use Ascend from here. This will take you inside the Skyview Tower.

Rospro Pass, Hebra

Once you reach this Skyview Tower inside Hebra, getting inside should be pretty simple.

After all, all you need to do is burn the thorns growing around the tower. Easy!

Pikida Stonegrove, Tabantha Tundra

The toughest part of this Skyview Tower is just getting to it, thanks to an ice dragon patrolling the area, along with some awkward positioning. It’s best to climb Hebra Mountain to get a good angle to Paraglide down from.

Typhlo Ruins, Great Hyrule Forest

This Skyview Tower, North of Hyrule Forest, is a bit awkward, and you will need to remove the item blocking the exit at the top. Just the floating platforms and rockets to get close enough to open it.
