84-rated sci-fi game set to leave Xbox Game Pass in April 2024

A pair of exciting Day 1 launches make up for it

It’s April 2, 2024, so any announcements made today should be safe and sound to believe – so we’ll assume that Microsoft’s first batch of Xbox Game Pass additions for April 2024 are indeed real.

Very much not real are the cars you can race with in LEGO 2K Drive, which is joining the library on April 3, 2024, though we can assure you that the fun to be had in Bricklandia is authentic. In this open-world racing game, you create your own vehicles and beat your rivals with them to go for the prestigious Sky Trophy. Unfortunately, LEGO 2K Drive will only be available on consoles and the cloud, not on PC.

For something higher up on the simulation scale, how about a round of golf in EA Sports PGA Tour? That’ll be available on all platforms through Xbox Game Pass on April 4, 2024.

If you’re yearning for the unknown and need your sports regimen to be spiced up by bullets, why not accompany Lara Croft in her latest adventure? Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will be part of the library on April 11, 2024.

Here’s a fun fact: The classic Tomb Raider games are a major inspiration for this cozy, botanical exploration game called Botany Manor, which is coming to Xbox Game Pass as a Day 1 launch on April 9, 2024. A fellow indie is April’s second Day 1 release – Harold Halibut, the unique and literally handmade narrative game is coming on April 16, 2024.

However, Game Pass is suffering some major losses in April as well – among them Soma, the celebrated sci-fi horror game. For a full overview, check below.
