The best Genshin Impact Nahida build unlocks the Dendro Archon’s full powers, allowing you to field one of the strongest reaction-enabling Sub DPS and Support characters in the game. As the Goddess of Wisdom is not primarily a fighter, Nahida herself doesn’t dish out a whole lot of damage, but is superb as an off-field reaction enabler due to her consistent Dendro application as well as her buffs to important stats.

That’s a perfect window for hitting them with everything you got.
You should get the following stat distribution on Nahida’s artifact set:
- Flower: HP (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Energy Recharge (secondary stats)
- Plume: Attack (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Energy Recharge (secondary stats)
- Sands: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Energy Recharge, Attack % (secondary stats)
- Goblet: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Energy Recharge, Attack % (secondary stats)

We’ve mainly focused on Nahida’s off-field capabilities so far, but such is her adaptability that she’s a superb Main DPS as well. In this case, all the off-field effects from Yelan, Raiden, and Kokomi allow Nahida to trigger lots of devastating reactions with her Elemental Skill and Normal Attacks. The only thing holding Nahida back is her low HP. However, Yelan and Kokomi’s Hydro Resonance buff helps out massively in this area, keeping her alive.
You could replace Yelan with Xingqiu and Raiden Shogun with Kuki Shinobu, Fischl, or Yae Miko in this Hyperbloom composition.
- Ayato (Main DPS), Nahida (Sub DPS), Raiden Shogun (Sub DPS), Zhongli (Support)
Hyperbloom teams can function with an off-field Nahida as well. For this to work you’ll need a Main DPS like Kamisato Ayato or Kokomi, who has consistent Hydro application through skills and Normal Attacks, as well as an Electro off-field character like Raiden, Yae Miko, or Fischl.
You can round things off by adding someone like Zhongli for shielding and damage buffs or an Anemo Support like Kazuha or Sucrose, who contribute additional resistance shredding. There is a possibility of using Alhaitham as the Main DPS here as well, putting more emphasis on Dendro damage and Spread.

Upgrading Nahida’s talents requires additional Mora and more sacrifices from the mushroom creatures – just stay away from Bongo-Head and the rest of our Shroom Buddies. Puppet Strings are another material you can only get in Sumeru, as you’ll need to defeat the fake god, Scaramouche, to obtain them.
