Update #1 (May 26, 2023): Looks like the Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 livestream is delayed for technical reasons, according to a Tweet sent out by HoYoverse. Original (May 22, 2023): After a launch that could not have been more successful, Honkai: Star Rail is about to get its first update – version 1.1 is scheduled for early June. HoYoverse is following the playbook established by Genshin Impact to a tee, which includes not just a strict and frequent patch cycle, but also the traditional livestreams to give people a taste of what’s to come.

Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 livestream: what to expect

We already mentioned Silver Wolf, Yukong, and Luocha, who are confirmed to join the playable roster in version 1.1 as new characters. That’s not all, however. We can expect the continuation of the main story line as well as new companion missions, for which the livestream will have additional details in store.

There will be a series of fresh events as well, one of which is apparently called Starhunt Game and allows you to earn Stellar Jade and a 4-Star Light Cone for the Nihility. Other time-limited events enable you to earn double rewards from Calyxes and the Simulated Universe. A total of six events seems to be planned for update 1.1, so one per week of the version’s runtime.

In terms of features, it looks like Honkai: Star Rail may receive a chat function in update 1.1, which allows you to message people on your friend list.
